
Classic Cheesecake
A rich and creamy traditional cheesecake, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
Crust Ingredients
- 1.5 cups flour
- 125g butter
- 150g sugar
- 2 eggs + 2 yolks
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
Cheese Filling Ingredients
- 1kg quark cheese (or ricotta)
- 4 yolks
- 1.5 cups sugar
- 2 tablespoons flour (or 50ml milk)
- 2 tablespoons budyń powder (vanilla pudding powder)
- 0.5 tablespoon oil
- 1.5 cups milk (slightly less if using pudding powder)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Prepare the crust by mixing all the crust ingredients together until smooth. Press the dough into the bottom of a baking pan.
- For the cheese filling, mix all the filling ingredients together until smooth and creamy. Pour the filling over the crust.
- Bake for 1 hour at 180°C. After baking, you can spread the beaten egg whites (from the leftover 4 eggs) mixed with 4 tablespoons of sugar on top of the cheesecake.
